In case of a MarginPLUS Sell Order, the SLTP for Stop Loss Buy order should be greater
than the Last Traded Price (LTP) and in case of MarginPLUS Buy Order, the SLTP for
Stop Loss Sell order should be less than the LTP. The calculate link is an optional
tool and you can also enter the trigger price manually. On clicking the 'Calculate'
link you can either opt 'Default 0.5% or Rs.1 (whichever is higher)' or 'Specify
%' to arrive at your SLTP. System will calculate the SLTP based on the difference
selected by you and this difference will be applied to the Fresh order price to arrive
at the SLTP.

2. In case of fresh limit order, fresh order price will be the limit price entered by you for the fresh order. Let us see how the SLTP would be calculated with the help of below example:
Example: For a particular Stock XYZ say, Fresh order Limit price = Rs. 98/- and you chose 'Default 0.5% or Rs.1 (whichever is higher)' option to calculate SLTP; At the time of SLTP calculation : 1. If Fresh order is Buy then SLTP for the Cover Sell Order would be 98-(Max((98*0.5%),1)) = Rs. 97 2. If Fresh order is Sell then SLTP for the Cover Buy Order would be 98+(Max((98*0.5%),1)) = Rs. 99 In the above example say you opted to Specify % as 2% then, At the time of SLTP calculation : 1. If Fresh order is Buy then SLTP for the Cover Sell Order would be (98-(98*2%)) = Rs. 96.05 2. If Fresh order is Sell then SLTP for the Cover Buy Order would be (98+(98*2%)) = Rs. 99.95 |

Note: It is preferable that you specify % as low as acceptable to you. This will provide maximum leverage benefit to you. |
